A friend of mine sent this to me today, about one author's take on fanfic. It's by someone named Sharon Lee who writes a verse called Liaden (as far as I can tell), who does not sanction fanfiction of their work.

It's been a long time since I had the irritation of having my program crash on me in the middle of writing something.
